GOSH

GOSH - THESE ARE GOOD LETTUCE WRAPS  

Ingredients:

1 Tablespoon Olive Oil 1 lb Ground Chicken 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 red pepper, diced 1/2 yellow pepper, diced 2 carrots, peeled and shredded 1 zucchini, sprialzied and then cut in matchstick size pieces 1 teaspoon Sriracha, or more, to taste 2 green onions, thinly sliced 4-5 oz NJS GOSH BBQ Sauce Kosher Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste 1 head butter lettuce, divided to make little cups

Directions:

1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium high heat. Add ground chicken and cook until browned about 3-5 minutes, making sure to crumble the chicken as it cooks; drain excess fat, set chicken aside. 2. Add onion to the hot pan and saute for 3-5 minutes then add the peppers and continue to cook for 3-5 more minutes to soften the peppers. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. 1-2 minutes. Add chicken back to pan and add the GOSH, start with 4 oz and add more according to taste. Keep on heat for a few more minutes just to heat chicken and sauce. 3. Season with salt and pepper to taste. To serve spoon several tablespoons of this yummy mixture onto your lettuce cups... These are amazing but definitely a 3 napkin deal!

SLOW COOKER GOSH CHICKEN   

Ingredients:

1 8 oz jar of NJS GOSH Bbq sauce  4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts  salt/pepper

Directions:

1. Season chicken with salt/pepper and then lay chicken breasts in the bottom of slow cooker, and pour NJS GOSH bbq sauce on top. Toss around once to combine so that the chicken is evenly coated in the sauce.  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and shreds easily. Now this is where I tell everyone to use your judgment if you think your slow cooker runs hotter or colder than others raise or lower the time  3. Use two forks to shred the chicken in the slow cooker, and toss it once more so that it soaks up the remaining juices. 4. Serve chicken on buns or however you would like, drizzled with some extra bbq sauce

GOSH CHICKEN W/ GOAT CHEESE   

Ingredients:

2-4 chicken breasts, pounded to ½ inch thick 3 oz ( 6 tbsp) goat cheese 1-2 tbsp Missing Link spice rub Onion, sliced into half moons --- Optional 1 8 oz jar NJS GOSH bbq sauce olive oil salt pepper White rice, cooked

Directions:

1. If doing onions, start pan at a medium high heat and saute onions for 2-3 minutes then turn heat to low and cover pan, let onions cook for at least 20-30 minutes stirring frequently so they don’t stick and burn. You will know they are done when they are a golden brown and nice and soft. Remove pan from heat and set aside. 2. Place each chicken breast into a plastic bag individually and pound out to ½ inch thickness, then add olive oil to new pan enough to coat the bottom and heat to medium high. Place chicken into pan and sear on each side to a nice golden brown 3-4 minutes each side, remove from pan and place into baking dish . 3. Assembly: After chicken in nestled into baking dish, cover each piece with a heaping tbsp of GOSH bbq sauce, then add onions, enough to cover the chicken. Cover baking dish with foil and bake for 15- 20 minutes. 4. Remove baking dish and add 1-2 tsp goat cheese or more if you like it cheesy, and and place back into oven and turn the heat to Broil Low and brown up the tops. 5. Remove from oven when chicken is cooked to 165 degrees. You can drizzle more sauce on and serve over white rice.

preheat oven 375 degrees Items needed: 2 Skillets 1 baking dish large enough for the chicken

GOSH CHICKEN STEW   

Ingredients:

Chicken ingredients 2 cooked bone in Baffoni’s chicken breast *** shredded 2 cooked Baffoni’s chicken thighs *** shredded 1 cooked Baffoni’s chicken legs *** shredded 1 cup orange juice salt/pepper 2-3 tbsp NJS GOSH bbq sauce Stew ingredients 1 small butternut squash, peeled, seeded, and cubed 4 small potatoes, cubed 5-6 small onions, quartered 1 cup orange juice 4 tbsp GOSH 1 tsp Missing Link Spice rub salt/pepper

Directions:

Directions for cooking chicken: 1. Place bone in chicken breasts, bone in thighs and legs into slow cooker and season generously with salt and pepper then add the orange juice, and pour NJS GOSH over top and cover and set to low for 4-5 hours check chicken after 4 hours. Ours took about 5 hours 2. Remove chicken from bones and discard bones then shred chicken ( Place chicken in refrigerator it will be added in last hour of cooking stew ) Reserve the cooking juices from slow cooker by straining them from any loose bones into a bowl and place juice back into slow cooker . Directions for Stew 1. Peel and cube up butternut squash, quarter the onions and cube up potatoes leaving the skin on, place in reserved strained juice in slow cooker 2.Add 1 tsp each salt, pepper and Missing Link stirring to combine, then add the additional 1 cup orange juice. 3. Set slow cooker to low and cook 7 ½ hours, at hour 6 1/2 remove chicken from refrigerator and allow to come down to room temperature then add to slow cooker 4. Cook with the chicken for another 45 minutes and add 4oz of GOSH to finish it up
